The Hybrid Creative (http://thehybridcreative.com), California’s premiere creative agency for cannabis and hydroponic ventures, announced today that it has been acquired by Kush Bottles (http://www.kushbottles.com), a leading provider of packaging, supplies, vaporizers, accessories and branding solutions for the regulated cannabis industry. The acquisition gives The Hybrid Creative the potential to vastly expand its reach, bringing its highly personalized brand building, marketing strategies and web development solutions to more clients nationally and globally.

Kush Bottles is also acquiring Zack Darling Creative Associates (http://zdca.com), the parent company of The Hybrid Creative. ZDCA is one of Northern California’s top creative agencies,  known for their accomplished work with sustainable enterprises and Shopify ecommerce web development. Both brands are expected to come together under the single banner of The Hybrid Creative.

Through this partnership, The Hybrid Creative will have access to Kush Bottles’ array of product designers, custom printing facilities and packaging factories, giving the agency new opportunities to develop the most innovative and beautifully designed packaging options in the cannabis marketplace.

“The Kush team has been incredibly supportive of our vision, and we’ve discovered strong alignment with theirs,” said Hybrid CEO, Zack Darling. “With this partnership we’ll be building creative teams around the world that share our passion for taking successful cannabis brands to market and supporting their growth.”

In the next year, as The Hybrid Creative builds out a new office in LA and brings on additional creative talent, clients can expect the same boutique-quality service with faster turnarounds and a wider array of marketing and technology options.

“Our focus on expanding The Hybrid Creative’s commitment to excellence in Creative Services is matched by Kush’s enthusiasm for our agency model. We’re very excited about this venture and look forward to even more brands discovering that few agencies offer the kind of custom experience and personalized solutions that we bring to the marketplace,” said Hybrid President, Kate Schneider.

About The Hybrid Creative

Headquartered in Santa Rosa, California, the gateway to California’s legendary Emerald Triangle cannabis country, The Hybrid Creative specializes in insightful brand storytelling, savvy market strategies and engineering robust custom web applications. In the nine years since its founding, the agency has served nearly 400 clients and thousands of projects including Cannacraft, Absolute Extracts, Care By Design, Korova, Humboldt’s Finest, Bhang, Emerald Family Farms and more of the industry’s best known brands.

What began in 2009 as ZDCA Design & Development, focused on sustainability and hydroponic enterprises, changed with a burgeoning cannabis industry. With legalization, the agency launched The Hybrid Creative to offer bespoke solutions to a new wave of cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, dispensaries and other related businesses, becoming one of the top cannabis branding agencies in the U.S.

As part of the restructuring, the agency’s full portfolio (cannabis and non-cannabis projects) will be brought under The Hybrid Creative umbrella.
